City of Vancouver Heritage Award Winner 2009 for the Arts and Crafts Building, 576 Seymour Street

VPAC received an award of recognition for restoring the storefront and the mezzanine, re-opening it to the street and adapting new retail and office uses. Awards were presented to owner Terry Pejan, David Hepworth of SITU Design, Hi-Fi Centre and VPAC Construction.

VPAC president Ben Bakk wants more heritage work.
“You can feel a sense of history when you walk into these buildings,” he said adding that often the walls have a story yielding old newspapers or old equipment sealed away.’
